Fairytale

You're a book I read
and never wanted it to end.
But I was just acting the words out loud
and reading myself into your life.
I can't change the ending
you have already written.
You cant erase an already finished page.
All I can do now is put the book
back on the shelf and remember
how the story touched me.
and maybe one day Ill get to read
that story again.
