It is easy enough
to hurt you with my words
to show you your own face
in this scrivened mirror.
It is easy enough
to gather together
all the enormous pain you've caused
and lay it written at your feet.
What is not easy
is admitting ( if only to myself)
that hurting you still hurts me.
and your pain is more than I can bear.
